ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES

The history of English is divided into three periods called Anglo Saxon, Middle English and Modern English.

Anglo Saxon period begin with the migration of Germanic tribes from the continent to britain in the fifth century AD.

Before that happen the habitants of Great Britain spoke a celtic language. The Ancient English vocabulary was a mix of anglo saxon,scandinavian and latin words. 

Some years after the French invaded Great Britain because of that some English words are similar to French words.

In the 1476 William Caxton started to use the first printing machine so English envolved and it was the closest English that he have today

Now a days, there are 54 countries that have English like an official language.
